THE CHALLENGE
A number of Costco stores are constructed with EPDM roofs which offer superior longevity, flexibility and resilience to thermal shock. Unfortunately, EPDM is vulnerable to damage and can leak around piping, HVAC units and other exposed areas.
THE PROCESS
Barrier technicians installed our silicone reinforced elastomeric roofing system over the stores’ existing EPDM roofing systems, creating a strong, seamless membrane – even over exposed areas.
THE RESULT
Silicone reinforcement significantly enhances the life and performance of Costco’s EPDM roofs.
