Every great team needs a great mascot. For the amazing crew here at Barrier Roofing, that mascot has been the clever little elf in our logo – a longstanding tradition that dates all the way back to 1941.

That’s the year when the great-grandfather and grandfather of our founder, Blair Cunnings, together, started their contracting business, establishing a family legacy that continues today four generations later. A legacy firmly rooted in commitment – to our work, to our clients, to our craftsmanship, to exceptional follow-through.

So much in the world has changed since Blair’s grandfather created that little elf in 1941. But some things are rock-solid, able to stand firm against the winds of change. Like the values embraced by Blair’s great-grandfather. Values we strive to live by each day, and seek to honor through this historic symbol.
